"If you want to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe." - Carl Sagan
Outside the studio is an apple tree that, after more than a decade - suddenly came to life with a tree full of apples. At first I didn't know if we could eat them - but noticed squirrels happily eating them. Then the neighbors took some, friends came with bags, we got an apple picking tool for the ones high up in the trees. Squirrels came by, and still there were more apples. They spring forth like life always does, coming from a where we can't comprehend, glowing with vibrant energy when they appear, and then returning to the earth.
